As a people pleaser that's working on it.. I think it's cuz we're trying too hard to avoid being a problem that we don't realize not communicating or communicating poorly or whatever *is* a problem 😅

I am a “people pleaser” in a sense. Many of the things I do for people don’t benefit me, and don’t make them like me any more. I will often do things I don’t want to do to help out.

I know what you mean but being a people pleaser has this exact issue. 😅 It doesn't work very well to accomplish what it sets out to do, as do most trauma responses.
