My daughter was 11 months before we got any real answers. She’s 3 now. We learned my daughter has a laryngeal cleft. She is scheduled for surgery in February. Fighting for answers is so hard!

Have her checked for a posterior tongue tie...not any antieror that can be easily seen. my daughter was 3 mo and was aspirating. they clipped her posterior tie and it resolved.

I just want to thank you! Thank you for being that mom that goes with her gut and stands by it! It’s hard for the moms that do it but when you see something like this you know it’s all worth it! ♥️♥️

My parents were medically gaslight by my ENT growing up, and I got tubes around her age! Best of luck! I recently had to find a new doctor because I was getting gaslight by my doctors for other stuff

my daughter just had adnoids removed due to similar issues, they also were supposed to scope for celiac but they did the wrong scope instead, we found out she has EoE which can also lead to all this

My son was born with a laryngeal cleft & we had no idea so he aspirated for 18m when he finally got it repaired! but we did feeding therapy & thicker diet before his repair

Did they ever mention her having asthma or reactive airway disease and both of those causing her to get sicker when she does catch a cold?

My son had similar issues and the aspiration was so bad, even with adeniods removed. The docs told us it was fine but then we ended up doing thickener for him and he got so much better.
