Was denied having my tubes tied at 22 with a child because my husband at the time wouldn't sign off on it. I'm now 24, having had 7 miscarriages, I almost died with the last one, and they still refuse

when I had my second child I wanted my tubes tied, was told that I had to be 30 in the state of Utah, I was 30 and a single mom still denied because I might want more kids, my daughter is 25, no more.

It was probably a insurance issue. I remember years ago my insurance said my ex now but it said 3 kids and over 21

I tried that they said no because my ex husband at the time had to sign off on it and I haven’t been back to the Dr since then and it was 6 yrs ago

Wanted my tubes tied after #3, but insurance said I have to take a class first. Got preg w/ #4 while waiting for the next scheduled class lol.

You could have find another dr that can do tube tied. I heard many stories most dr won’t then you have right to shop to find another one will do that for you

Hysterectomy at 31 and never regretted! Doctor also didn’t believe in needing spousal consent (he was involved in deciding just not on paper) we have our daughter but I was developing cancer

Same thing for my daughter it was a state law that you had to be 21

I was 24 when I had my child. The Dr wouldn't allow me because I was a single parent. Went on to meet someone had 2 miscarriages. And still when I was 27, the Dr's refused.

I could die in pregnancy they still won’t give me a hysterectomy had my tubes removed and iud to stop bleeding iud is now stuck and expired

fyi: to those who want their tube's tied and their dr refuses. find a new doctor. this is typically not due to insurance, but due to doctor preference

I told my doctor I didn't want birth control after my third I want to be sterile. I got my tube's removed.

2014 they asked me on the table my 3rd & last csection. I said yes. I'm 33wks now with my 4th baby lol. My husband prayed for my healing last year and 6mo later I was pregnant 🥰

I have 5 kids and they still won't tie my tubes I had 4 kids by time I was 23 and had my 5th at 31. still won't tie my tubes .. I don't understand 😕

I was told the same thing when pregnant with our second baby it was a law in NY state saying not under 21yo. Couldn't even sign the papers, had #2 3 days b4 21st birthday. 2 more kids after that
