@homewithfay: What a cruel disease 😢 please take time to read 👇🏻 Ryan was diagnosed with Rheumatoid and Psoriatic arthritis 8 years ago. He had a major flare up at the age of 32 resulting in him being unable to walk as it affected his knees and feet. Arthritis is an autoimmune disease, your immune system attacks your joints leaving the person in unimaginable pain and joint deformity but can also attack your organs For 8 years until recently Ryan has been on methotrexate tablets which kills his immune system but has made him really sick and loose his hair but kept the arthritis at bay. Then two months ago he had a major flare up with the arthritis spreading to his spine and hips. The pain was so bad we had to rush him to hospital he was unable to walk and the drs struggled to get his pain under control. To watch the person you love in so much pain was heartbreaking. We had to wait 4 weeks but he’s now been given a new biological medication which is administered by a needle each week. Already after a week we have noticed a major difference he is able to walk better. We are hoping this is the start and he can start building his strength back up. This medication is killing his immune system we have to be careful of bringing bugs in the house and keeping things clean but we are taking one step at a time and hoping to keep the arthritis at bay. This awful disease affects so many people especially young people and we’ve found it’s not spoken about enough and people just don’t understand its impact. Thank you to all of those that have messaged me over the past few months to offer advice and we would like to do more to raise awareness and help those struggling Ryan & Fay x #arthritis #rhumatoidarthritis #psoriaticarthritis #autoimunedisease #raisingawareness #jointpain

Hey, are you sure you are taking the injections right? I have the same and it has two clicks. After the second I still have to wait 3 seconds and it looks like you’re too fast, just an advice 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Rheumatoid is autoimmune and one other but they are not all autoimmune. I was dx at 31 and have also been dx with sjogrens that affects your muscles, eyes and teeth .
