@emma__brownnnn: I’ve never been so proud of something in my life these are amazing Healthy high protein cinnamon rolls: Dough: -1.5 cups einkorn flour (all purpose flour) (~2cups after you keep adding flour but staft w 1.5) -1.5 cups of plain Greek yogurt -sprinke of salt -1.5 tsp baking powder -2 tsp cinnamon -1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup (or raw honey) -1 tsp stevia (optional) Filling: -1 cup of date paste (blended/smashed dates) (if blending, add about 1-2tbsp water) -4 tbsp almond butter -1 tbsp cinnamon -4 tsp of coconut sugar -2 tsp of pure maple syrup Icing: -1.5 tbsp cream cheese (heat for 15 seconds so it stirs in easily) -1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vanilla) -2 tsp coconut sugar -1 tsp cinnamon -2.5 tbsp pure maple syrup -splash of vanilla -whisk together to get rid of any chunks Steps: -combine all ingredients in a bowl & mix with a fork until a dough consistency forms -knead with hands (add flour to hands so it doesn’t stick) -sprinkle flour onto dough until it’s no longer sticking to your hands -roll out into a rectangle on a floured surface -add date paste to dough and spread evenly all over -carefully roll the dough into a log -add flour to any sticky parts to prevent it from ripping -transfer to cutting board (you don’t have to if you’re worried about breaking it) -cut into 6-8 pieces -transfer to an oiled pain & form the pieces into a more circular form -add egg wash to the sides & top -place in oven at 350° for 30 minutes -take out of oven and top it with homemade icing -let cool for about 5-10 minutes & eat!!! #healthyrecipes #highprotein #healthydesserts #cinnamonroll #fyp #wholefoods #breakfastideas
