@marlenehk: The start of my Tonic Clonic Seizure. I start getting an aura which comes in the form of increased heart rate, feeling anxious, loss of vision and seeing flashing lights, then as I start losing consciousness the body jerking starts and as it progresses I eventually pass out. When I regain consciousness I am very confused and in a daze, my body aches and feels weak. I wake up to scratch marks and blood in my mouth from biting the insides of my cheeks or lip. I am very "lucky" that I get the aura and can get myself in a safe position and try to call for help, but recently the timeframe between the start of my aura and losing consciousness has decreased significantly. #epilepsyawareness #epilepsy #seizure #seizureawareness #tonicclonicseizures #triggerwarning #epilepsywarrior
