i don't think It Ends With Us romanticized it? it showed the way someone feels when their love blinds them from things that are not okay. like the abuse. and she slowly comes to the realization that she has to get out. and does.

I will say some of the these “romance” books people read are like literal abuse happening it boggles my mind how people normalizes it and are saying it’s fantasy. Pretty sure you’d not be okay if these abuseive things happened to you. I just stay away from all the romance stuff cause some of it is CRAZY.
