Beautiful point. I’ll add and say, remember group projects in school? It was my experience that girls took the lead and did the most work more often than not

My mother raised 3 kids after my father left to please his selfish needs. My mother not once showed weakness and kept pushing forward for us. I know deep down she was hurt but she didn’t give up on us

this reminds me of when Harriet Winslow was passed up for a promotion because she didn't have the "skills" and she let her boss know she's been a manager at home for YEARS

I think abt the videos when ALL the football players are answering the question of when the last time they talked to their mom. Everyone one said they talk to their mom many times a day.

My mother stepped up for my father’s oldest two, my other siblings when their mom went to jail and my father signed over his rights. SHE left him and still helped raise them. We love her so much 🥹

As a mom, this brought tears to my eyes. These men had great mamas and you can tell how much they appreciate them. This is such an important conversation and I’m glad it’s clicking.

My dad was in the military. He was deployed for 6-months at a time. Out of contact because internet/cell phones weren’t a thing back then. My mom managed it all alone.
