Tinted suncreens have pigments in them. That coloured pigment is called zinc oxide and blocks the lights that causes hyperpigmentation and spots. Using a sunscreen and use foundation over top does the same as tinted sunscreen. Foundation and concealer contain coloured pigments and zinc oxide.

OMG this! I’m so pale and every tinted sunscreen makes my face tan and visibly darker than the rest my my body. If anyone has a long range shade tinted sunscreen brand plz let us know

I don’t like tinted sunscreen because if you use the recommended 3 finger lengths, the tint will look cakey. Also it’s hard to reapply every two hours due to the same issue
