You go to those places and stay in the hotel zones. That’s has always been the rule for tourist. Getting an airbnb is also a quick way of being a target, go to an all inclusive resort instead

Was it an Airbnb?! Never stay at an Airbnb in a country that you’re not familiar with. They’re typically owned by a local resident and Airbnb will not do anything to help if you are scammed.

This happened to me and my friends @ an Airbnb in Tulum too first we got harassed by the cops then we got robbed around that same time ! I believe the Airbnb host had a part in it

It’s all about how you travel. Yeah, if you book an Airbnb and are out late, more likely for probs. I stayed at the Conrad and was 10/10. Granted, we avoided any nightlife off resort late.

Haven’t been to Tulum in about 8 years. It was beautiful last time i went. No issues. If you are going out in any part of Mexico, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area, don’t wear expensive..

Glad you saw him. It happen to me on vacation at a hotel. I left that hotel the same night of the seeing the peeping tom. Never stayed on a ground floor hotel room after that.
