Rescue is hard. Every single day it feels like we’re scrambling, crying, and holding our breath over a new dog. But somehow, we come together and lives get saved. Yesterday, I met Tucker, a tiny puppy who was hours away from being euthanized. I looked at him and thought, “There’s no way this is how his story ends.” Thanks to Caitie’s Foster Fam and one of their amazing partners, we created a dream team. I stepped in to foster, and now Tucker is safe. I’m at capacity with big dogs, but this little guy fit perfectly into the mix. He’s currently sleeping in my car as I write this, on his way to a bath, a full belly, and a better life.
