the supporting mods are different per subaru. my 15 wrx with the FA20 only needs an attentive driver and a lot of oil changes on time. and km about to hit 150k miles.

i have a 2011 Forester xt. is there a way to delete the first cat in the downpipe without requiring a tune? i tried even something simple as a CAI but it just made it run lean, because I can't afford.

no mention of cylinder failure on stock vehicles. I've had 2 STI's, a 2010 and 2012, both had cylinder failure on cylinder #4

Don’t do it. I’ve had 3 and they just don’t last. My RB26, RB25 and 1JZ cars all made more power on a stock block and never grenaded.

the biggest piece of advice is telling people to check their oil level with the stock engine and getting a proper dyno tune even with the addition of an aftermarket intake
