I hate when a doc says I’m speaking inappropriately in front of a patient when I’m swearing, obviously read the room, but it makes patients so much more comfortable when they feel you are a human being

Much like my nurse/doctor combo at my delivery. Humor is so powerful. My epidural wasn’t effective so it was a little more intense - but the positive vibes were flowing. Congrats to you!
