For anyone wanting to practice: Stand behind a chair, take a step back, kick over the chair without touching it. To increase difficulty, stand a bit closer to it. This should help towards a more solid and stable kick. If you touch the back of the chair, you're likely not raising your knee enough. Good luck! 🥋

you should already have the hip positioned to throw the side kick the power comes from speed not the hip, it is also best used as a counter.
