as a PICU nurse, jammies are too hard to navigate post op. hospital gowns and blankets are best, we need to see everything and trying to unzip is too difficult and time consuming.

Pack one of your sleep shirts put it over a pillow (as a pillowcase) he will smell you and be able to cuddle the pillow ❤️good luck and quick healing!!

I got my daughter button onesies instead of zip up onesie cus of cords when she had all her surgeries (she's had her appendix taken out in half of her small intestine) she had a gtube & broviac too
