I got a mini Dachshund a week and a half ago. crate training is hard! she's been fine at night. but if I need to do something that I can't watch her I put her in there and she Screams 😭

our puppy would not eat either so we mixed wet food with the dry food and she inhaled her food also if that does not work maybe try out a different food our Golden's love the chewy brand

Crate training is tough, but worth it! We also have a selective eater and eventually found out that she had food allergies which may have contributed to it!

I would recommend giving him something to chew on when he goes in a crate like a chewable beef stick. Then by the time he’s finished it, he doesn’t even realize you’re gone!

We thought my puppy didn’t like treats because he wouldn’t touch them for the first week, but after he got comfortable he became incredibly food motivated and it got easier!!

Mine’s selective eating was due to food sensitivity. I let him try different samples to find a good food

Keep going! My dog has a safe and happy place all to herself in a crate and it’s worth all the tears getting there! It does get better, the early puppy months are just a lot!

such a gorg look! + our girl sleeps with a blanket over her crate and she loves it. we leave one side up for ventilation but it cancels out more sound and provides a "den" for her!
