i had that same exact pole it snapped on the highway and bowed just after a few weeks it would be a lot better to get PVC drill holes for clips and paint it black that’s what i did it’s amazing

I cut a flip over gooseneck ball and welded and 1/4 inch 2.5 7 foot pipe and I’ve have it up to 95 with no problems
