NO surgery, no weightloss drugs, no gate keeping… Here’s how I went from being severely overweight, under confident and chronically people pleasing to 126lbs, getting my spark back and setting loving boundaries in just 1 Year!  January 2024 I started a total meal replacement diet (@one2onediet ) on step 1B. That’s 4 products a day, 3L of water and not a lot of exercises. I did this for 6 months (I fell off the wagon 3 times but got straight back to it- remember that part please 🙏) I lost 6 stone by my birthday at the end of June!  July 2024 Started working through the steps and slowly reintroducing conventional food through calorie counting (I love the nutracheck app and use it daily). I kept my meals high protein, generally low carbs but didn’t shy away from them (sweet potato wraps are so good for this stage)  I started the couch to 5 K and walked 10K steps daily aswel as training for a 5K x3 times a week. Always run with music, it feeds my soul 🎶  August 2024 Went on holiday, had a great time, gained 10lbs (that’s not real fat, I lost it within 10 days of getting back to it)  September - December 2024  Steadily worked up to eating a balanced, high protein diet learning that food can be tasty and guilt free (I have to have something sweet daily so I’m never going to cut that out, what’s the point!?)  I’ve steadily maintained my 9 stone weightloss for 3 months now, I’m working towards running a 10K and I have a new found obsession for cinnamon swirls 😂 🥐 what I’m trying to tell you is, yes, I made a serious sacrifice for the best part of a year, but I’ve actually enjoyed the majority of it and FINALLY got to a place of loving food, nutrition & exercise again…and you can too!
