Bad advice, if you’re in a lane that has the oncoming traffic beside it and the wheel is turned, then you’re pushed into that traffic.

I feel leaving considerable space and paying attention to the rear mirror would be safer If you leave some space you can try to move if something cams at speed and even try to push smaller car if a Truck is coming towards you at speed
