I feel like this works if you run your dishwasher often, but 2 day old food is not going to rinse off in the dishwasher. That stuff’s dried on and going to stay there

Then you have to clean the filter which is a pain. I’d rather rinse them.

if we don't rinse our plates first the dishwasher tends to stink faster (between loads) and more likely to clog the filter 😞
