1 Day = 1 Ronnie Radke’s Song #42 🇲🇫 “The day I left The Womb” (”Le jour ou j’ai quitté l’utérus”), 11e et dernier titre du premier album d’Escape The Fate “Dying is Your Latest Fashion”. Cette chanson est probablement la plus touchante de l’album. Ronnie a écrit ces paroles pour sa famille et particulièrement sa mère qui l’a abandonné 10 mois après sa naissance. Il explique dans son livre qu’elle est tombée dans les drogues et les a abandonnés avec son frère (Anthony James Radke) qui lui, avait à peine 4 ans. Le premier couplet et refrain, sont écrits pour sa mère, soulignant le manque de tout ce dont il aurait eu besoin venant d’elle, qui préférait être absente. Le second couplet pour son frère, le suppliant d’arrêter les drogues pour s’occuper de ses enfants et ne pas faire les mêmes erreurs que leurs parents, et le 3e couplet pour son père, Russel, détruit, ayant la vie très dure, mais présent malgré tout pour éduquer au mieux ses 2 fils, également déchirés, qui tomberont plus tard dans les drogues dures, en vivant et s’éduquant de foyer en foyer. Malheureusement, 7ans après la sortie de cette chanson, Anthony James Radke décède dans un accident de voiture à l’âge de 33ans, laissant ses 5 enfants, sa femme, Russel et Ronnie derrière lui, complètement dévastés. Ronnie écrira plus tard une chanson pour lui et n’arrivera jamais à la chanter après son enregistrement.
