What temp would you say it should be for a snow/pram suit to be used? Don’t want to put one on when a blanket would be sufficient over vest and onesie

When a baby sleeps at night time can they just wear a sleep suit and no blanket or swaddle or must they always have a blanket and lighter clothes under Meath?

What about dressing a baby when you’re going out for a walk and the baby is in the carrier? I’ve been told that mum counts as a layer, does the carrier count too?
