¹I had 3 chicken in winter, my coop was small, I put it up on my back porch, lot of peat moss on the bottom, old blankets on the roof, and a heating water bowl and it was perfect

-38 here today. My chickens have a heated and insulated coop. Temperature controlled run door. If it’s below -5 it won’t open. 20 birds. 15-18 eggs a day. The run is wired and fenced with a steel roof
