man do i love teaching my kids workplace stress and instability, but seriously DO NOT do this to your kids this is stressful and is uneffective. 1. If you pay a kid to do chores, they stop doing things because they are part of a family and start doing them only for the "paycheck." 2. Home is supposed to be a child's psychological safe haven. When you tie their bed and shelter to their "performance" on chores, you turn the home into a high-stakes workplace. just let them save their own money for toy, its less traumatizing
