It’s not faster, it still has layers, it’s only benefit, provided the gel is stable enough is you can print without supports, however it’s going to be slower you have to print solid parts or trap gel

Aside from no longer needing support material, how is it faster?

that's cool I don't see the removal of gravity just a different printing method

Whoever comes up with a method or design that can replace plastic car. Parts designed to fail after warranty will be a billionaire. This is a billion dollar. Replacement part industry right now.

cool tech. but I already see drawbacks. the most obvious is price, the second being you can't put it on a desktop.

Well,we’re getting closer and closer to being able to explain how the UFO allegedly described by Bob Lazar in the late '80s could be made without seams or separate parts—more like one solid structure

Look at how much the object moves around in the gel, there’s gotta be some warping.

StScallop :
How does it guarantee that the object doesn’t move while it’s printing?

Quack_Dragon :
You don’t need gravity to print with an FDM printer the adhesion of the material to the bed and itself is strong enough

I thought 3d printing would be more accessible and useful by now, like every household
