@morricemike: Since late September, the floor of our Parliament has been gridlocked debating the same motion. It's one that calls for a committee to review the government’s failure to provide documents detailing potential conflicts of interest and mismanagement at Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), after MPs (myself included!) voted to have these documents be provided back in June. Let me be clear: Greens believe it is important for this to be addressed, and like all other parties in the house, have shared our intention to vote in support. What we don't support though, is endless filibustering. Because despite knowing their motion would pass, Conservative MPs have continued to speak to it, day after day. In doing so, not only are they holding up passing a resolution they actually called for – but they've now wasted over $2.3 million in the process. I’ll keep pushing to bring an end to this debate, so both this motion, and legislation related on our community’s priorities – from tackling the housing crisis, to supporting people with disabilities, to addressing the climate crisis – can move forward. #kitchenerontario #houseofcommonscanada #houseofcommons #cndpoli
