So why the big hype about vitamin C? My GP put me on nicatinamide to help lower my high risk for more skin cancers. Seeing a derm soon who specialises in skin cancer so I’ll ask her.

Isn't Niacinamide the same? My dermatologist recommended after I was diagnosed with SCC, in situ 2. This was two and half years ago.
