Very nice. I work with a lot of D77/78s at a large class one. It’s amazing how old some of those motor frames are. The oldest one I’ve ever seen had a 1940 cast date.

I thought there was a gear case. Motor pinion to axel gear. I always thought there was grease or some kind of heavy oil. Great video explaining
