this also happens when management is toxic and judges work ethic by how many meetings you have on your calendar. if you dont have 3 meetings internal 3 external a day you must not be productive.

Imagine a team of 10 people in IT as a rowing boat team 😂 In Japan, you have 9 rowers and 1 manager, in the USA you have 1 rower and 9 managers. When the USA loses, they will fire the rower.

And there’s so many calls that the people doing the work don’t even have time to actually do the work. So it’s always behind schedule which leads to more calls & less progress. 😂
