@whalewatching04: We’ve been having a blast with friendly and active Humpback Whales! On our 8 hour expeditions departing from Newport we are especially able to target this sort of activity from charismatic Humpbacks. This was one of the awesome moments from our 8 hour trip last Saturday where this pair of friendly whales APPROACHED OUR STOPPED BOAT and swam circles around us as we watched. We’ve got two 8 hour trips this weekend aboard our largest Zodiac the “Pelican” which features lots of comfortable seating and an onboard restroom. Our two hour trips this weekend also have a shot at Humpbacks but it usually does take “all day” to get lucky enough to find a pair of whales like this, and stick with them until something awesome happens.
