@toolgirlsgarage: Foam for a fence post? YES! It’s been YEARS of nothing but great experiences here for me! Have y’all ever tried it? What was your experience? Now I’m in Texas, we have a very high water table and a shallow frost line, but I honestly have had no issues at all. Follow the directions and make sure you look at the manufactures- @sikausa for guidance if you are concerned about correct applications etc. I’ve had not a single problem, and I’ve heard a million concerns. Once the foam cures, you trim it up and you’re good. No rotted posts either for me, but again I think that’s more weather related and material choice. Not concerned personally about off gassing- it’s inert when cured so the window for off gassing is minimal. Concrete is nothing to brag about in terms of environmental impact and while it can be recycled, less than 10% ever is and it’s not a clean process by any means either. Not meant for structural posts or decks- fences only! So there is my two cents! Big fan of this stuff! #fenceposts #fencepostfriday #tradielady #carpenther #womeninconstruction #postfoam #postfix
