I used to work with a customer who used to ship loads of eggs as a blind shipment from a prison and would sell them as if they came from a farm. not illegal. but questionable.

it's used to protect the source of goods sold, also called diverted freight. it breaks the legality of the bol, but no one has challenged it in court.

I did one blind shipment my whole career, and I'm pretty sure it was to some secret government facility pretending to be a power plant. it was a weird load from start to finish.

Nothing is wrong with to do blind shipments just check that the broker should be factored with OTR and his Credit score must be good
