Well… I changed my 2016 Forester CVT fluid last years at 60k miles. As I know, there is no such thing as ✌🏼”Lifetime CVT Fluid”✌🏼 right now it’s runs fine except….

oh speaking of CVTs, when I worked at a Nissan dealership, our lead tech had an Altima with 200k on his CVT. he said you gotta change that fluid every 3 oil changes. seemed to work for him lol

VW tried the "lifetime fill" transmission thing in the early 2000's. non cvt and those didn't last either

Was not told to she hada replace water pump, timing belt, an head gaskets avery 60k. The CVT transmission a guarantee replacement especially with the newer models.
