Honestly you gotta just do it cold turkey. I used gum and candies to distract myself. It took months to stop craving it but after a while it wasn’t even appealing anymore

i’m doing the patch until i break the hand to mouth since i bite my nails too so imagine CONSTANT hand to mouth and then i’ll “cold turkey” the patches and deal with the withdrawals but won’t be as tempted to hit a vape

i quit cold turkey almost 2 years ago. mints, suckers, cough drops, gum, literally something to mimic that hand to mouth movement. i stopped craving about 2 weeks after. so worth it

cold turkey is the way to go. i’d recommend doing it during a time when you can keep yourself occupied but don’t have anything major going on. keeping yourself distracted is the biggest piece

I went cold turkey 2 weeks ago. The first week was rough but gum and mints helped alot (it reminded me of the menthol vapes i used to get). Nowadays I been slowly easing off the mints and just take a few deep breaths when i feel withdrawn. I feel great- had no sickness or anything.

I got on the patch and started using the puff count app to track how many puffs a day I take. Then each day you have one less puff and it’s easier to get off. Now I’m on just the patch and easing off

don’t listen to the comments telling you to go cold turkey girl just slowly lower the amount of patches u use a day and then start using a lower dosage once ur using less patches

i did it! it was hard. you need to get into some mints, or some hard candies. i like ginger chews. every day it gets easier until you are so far from it that you are proud

my husband used the lozenges he cold turkeys at first then did those. he went from one every 2 hrs to now like 2 a day if he even remembered

I quit sept 18th! After many years vaping I was serious, I did no nic vapes for 2 months then when my last vape was gone I just called it quits. Rarely crave it, now I’m free!

Nah I did the patch for 6m after soo many failed CTs. Eventually it just started making me sick to my stomach & it was easy to give up after 12y addicted to nix. Hand to mouth was gone so if was easy

I’m seeing people that have never smoked or vaped use nicotine patches for random health things so I think by cutting out the chemicals from the vape/cigs is what really matters. I don’t think nicotine gives you the cancer. Everything else in the vape/cig does
