I had a squad leader in basic training that was going to OCS after basic, that man was fucking smarrttttt, carried the platoon. Even won soldier of the cycle. I miss you Blanchard from 3-39 b company

Other ways to be an officer, through ROTC, HPSP, USUHS, direct commission as a medical student, doctor, dentist, lawyer, RN etc. These alternative often require very abbreviated officer basic course
