I see what you’re saying. And breastfed my baby. But I do think you’re discounting that bottle feeding gives longer stretches of sleep if parents alternate.

Bottles are like double duty. You have to ask bottles mix formula, wash bottles sanatize bottles. You can darn near sleep through nursing and there’s no washing.

it was so nice when my baby woke up and I just had to pop a booby out then 10 minutes later they fell back asleep and I can slide back into bed 😅

Not for me. I got way more sleep sure I weaned. Then my husband bottle fed, and I didn't have to wake up anymore. I had problems falling back asleep before.

Curious to see where exclusively pumping moms stand because I sure as hell felt like I was in a constant cycle of pumping make a bottle feeding clean bottle clean pump parts pump again 🤪🫠

Did the psg show “deep sleep” because they were sleep deprived? Because isn’t stage 3 sleep time increased when you are sleep deprived?

Literally never had this experience. My baby woke up every two hours and I literally didn’t sleep until my partner woke up in the morning

Formula fed my second from birth and had my husband take all the night shifts and it helped my postpartum recovery and sleep tremendously!

Combo feeding ftw - nurse most of the time, but can do bottles if/when necessary and do a nice 8oz. of formula at bedtime every night!
