That looked like a hickory nut, it’s not a walnut. We had walnuts and that does not look like ours did.

We had all the same problems in Michigan early frost drought and early spring flooding definitely been a rough growing season

I’m in FL but we have been looking at land in Arkansas. But now I don’t think I would survive the winter if you already had a frost 🥶 I tried living north once and froze.
