Does anyone else feel like maintaining a clean house is one of the hardest parts of motherhood?! 😂 Even with a cleaner who deep cleans once a week, systems implemented and kids who help out, it's still A LOT to keep up with! I don't share all of this to complain because it's honestly just part of raising kids. But if you're someone who struggles to keep up with it all- I want you to know you aren't alone!! Here are a few tips that have helped me: 1. At least one load of laundry a day so it doesn't pile up! Do 2 or 3 if you have the time so you can take a day off if needed. 2. Laundry gets folded AS SOON as it's dry. Don't let clean clothes sit unfolded in piles because it feels dirty. 3. Load the dishwasher daily. It doesn't take that long! 4. Teach your kids to help. It takes longer initially but when they learn how to take over certain tasks it's worth the time you put in. 5. Hire help if you need it and can afford to. Don't feel guilty about it, if it helps you then it's worth it for your mental health!! 6. Find time to do small decluttering projects so it's not overwhelming. 7. Keep a giveaway bin in your garage so you always have somewhere to toss things into as you come across them. I'm not perfect at keeping our home clean. Obviously this video is about how I struggle with it😂 but I hope these little tips help you if you're feeling overwhelmed by it! Because while yes it's a struggle for me- it's something I think is important to try and do our best at!
