As a general rule of thumb, don’t go off of websites like chairish to get an estimate/appraisal on a piece. Their prices are often inflated and don’t reflect the actual market.

I think I’ve heard that you can cut notches into the wood where it will be inlayed and interconnected with eachother, but it takes some calculating to make sure it’s evenly cut into the wood.
