I was never afraid of water till I bought a house. 😭 Once I saw all the areas water wants to destroy the house, I was like oooooohhhhh, this is why. LOL. Because it’s not like you’re gonna file an insurance claim on every single instance, your premium would be through the roof, so a lot of stuff you just pay for out of pocket  and keep moving. And that's just ONE example. Don’t even get me started on HVAC. 🫠   So if you set out to buy a house with no money saved as an emergency fund you are tying your life.    Yes, home ownership is great, but the truth is you have also just added a layer of risk to your life in the form of “emergency replacement” or “emergency cost of maintenance.“  And if you don’t know, now you know- maintenance costs MONEY, and emergencies cost even more money. #personalfinancetips #buyingahouse #buyingahome #howtobuyahouse #mortgagetips #mortgageadvice #homerepair
