Rare beauty (and these) need worked into a brush before application. Water based blushes tend to grip and set on the skin asap. (Similar to the Ioni sticks) Evenly working the pigment into a brush and then tapping into the skin works well. However, oil based (like Ilia) are much more malleable before they set into the skin. :)

The rare beauty ones are really pigmented but I recommend not putting a lot and working it in with a brush. They last on you but it takes a little bit to blend.
