If they work with a broker they have to tell the broker the coverage they want. Otherwise they are just looking at cost not coverage

Employer’s pick and choose what they want to cover and not cover. If the physicians and drug companies would stop charging an arm or leg for services or drugs it would be cheaper. So really blame them

I work for an insurance company. It actually goes deeper than that. Hospitals, providers and pharmacies get to renegotiate when contracts are up and when they raise prices, insurance premiums go up.

The plan that my husband has from his work sucks. It’s a family plan and the deductible is $7000 before it covers anything. He needed eye surgery and we had to pay out of pocket for the entire cost
