there are things in the wood not meant for mortal eyes

Andres Rivera :
it looks like it was caused by the initial cavitation of the rock breaking the surface tension and pull in the water downward causing a displacement than rapid fill.

Ok I know who Hank Green is, but I swear to God the first thing that came to my mind was Red Green, and if you don’t know who he is, look it up! Now all I want is to see him answer this!

The Riddler was there, he left his calling card in the splash. No Hank Green, where the hell is BATMAN?!

Oh, that’s simple: The trajectory at which the force was pulled from the boulder and pushed into the high temperature H2O at a velocity of time travel

Gah…I’m too early for Hank to have seen this. We need answers or I’m never going into the woods again! Ahh who am I kidding…I wouldn’t anyway. 😂

Even the water is posing the question. Taunting us with its mysteries by leaving us with that perfect "?". 😅

Nikolai :
surface area of the rock that hit the water was in a split second too much for the surface tension of the water to break, hence the effect you saw.

It is because it hits flat it creates suction and pulls air into the hole created by the rock

I’m gonna make a wild guess and see if I’m right! The center was real narrow and real deep and the rest of the pond was super shallow that was immediately effected by the boulder!

McSkivies :
at a glance, it looks like some air was under the rock as it went into the water and as the airbubble was 'popped' the rest of the water decided to obey physics.
