The “sound of the Big Bang” created by John G. Cramer is a scientific interpretation of the early universe’s cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation. Cramer, a physicist at the University of Washington, used data from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) to generate an audio representation of the early universe’s sound waves. The audio file simulates pressure waves in the dense plasma of the early universe, which were caused by fluctuations in temperature and density. These fluctuations are what eventually led to the formation of galaxies and other cosmic structures. #universe #bigbang #astronomy #space #cosmos #education
