never let your puppy run up to other dogs on or off lead. it's such a hard habit to break if you let them do it. big vets bills

if your dogs recall isn’t 100% than use a longline first

I definitely wouldn't let my dogs meet others on a walk. I don't really get anything out of it and it's too risky.

will she be staying in her crate when she is an adult or will you try and take it away? x

Love that you are making sure she gets enough rest. So many people don't realise how much sleep a puppy needs.

I have a black show cocker spaniel called Elvis. He is 1.5 years old. We got him at 11 months old. He is absolutely gorgeous but has ALOT of energy 😂 🥰 x

I don’t let my 6 month old pup interact with other dogs unless I know them well. I’m so paranoid about him having a bad experience and it making him reactive 🙈

I think the advice that you need to let your puppy meet as many dogs as possible within a certain timeframe is outdated. I'd rather my puppy had no experience than a bad experience

Just curious why don’t you give breakfast as soon as you wake up? Xx

My Jack Russel puppy is off lead & able to run up to other dogs for any walks away from the road. It’s the best way to socialise them & they soon learn to come back.

How long is your puppy in their crate at night? Does she wake you or do you wake her? Just asking to compare what I do 😁

We have just had a puppy who is 9 weeks old. How did you crate train successfully? So far he cries in there and would rather nap out of the crate.

Our Perdy is 100% crate trained. She’s now 6 months old and I totally get you about the nap 😂. So we pop her in her crate for a nap for her own good. She loves her safe space

For socialisation we take our 8 month old to the busiest places possible where most people will ignore him constantly; it helped him to stop expecting attention all the time! Shopping villages ect.
