@thebrunchguy: After eating our way through all the TikTok-hyped spots in Japan, here’s our top 5… with a few surprises! 🇯🇵🍜 #5. Onigiri Gorichan (Osaka) – Line out the door before they open! The salted salmon roe and curry onigiri were 🔥, but maybe not worth the long wait. Pro tip: arrive 20 mins early for quicker seating. #4. Ramen Tasunoya (Tokyo) – We waited an hour in the rain for dipping ramen, and it was beyond worth it. Easily the most flavorful ramen of the trip. #3. Hikiniku to Come (Kyoto) – Simple hamburger patties and rice, but trust us, you’ll get the hype. We had to prepay three weeks in advance, but it was unforgettable! #2. Mouriya (Kobe) – If Kobe beef is on your list, try Mouriya. Reservations are a must at the main location, but they have other spots with the same amazing taste minus the splurge. #1. Coco Ichibanya Curry – Yep, it’s a chain, but Japan’s Coco Curry was so good we went back THREE times! Just walk in, choose your spice level, and enjoy. Honorable mentions: Udon Shin, Gyukatsu, and Panel Cafe. But honestly? Some of our best meals were at random spots we stumbled into.
