@emperorsofmischief: What’s that? Kuzko has been navigating his car around the barriers — all the way to the goal cone — without using any checkpoint cones or treats? Way to go Kuzko! 🥳 Take a look! Something we love about this specific clip is how it shows Kuzko’s always improving ability to adjust and correct his positioning. We have noticed that Kuzko is no longer so worried about perfecting his positioning before accelerating, but is instead willing to move forward and then adjust his direction as he finds he needs to. Here we can observe multiple examples of his improved approach to correcting challenging mistakes like overturning and even getting the car stuck in a corner. Kuzko perseveres through these all the way to the end, not even needing an intermediary treat to motivate him to keep trying! Since we train our rats to give them intellectual stimulation, perfection isn’t the ultimate goal; rather, seeing Kuzko autonomously problem-solve his way out of these various situations and challenges without giving up is incredibly satisfying and exciting for us. Kronk is also improving and we look forward to showing you his progress soon! Furthermore, next up on the driving front is a new and improved course which we are excited to share.
