I just had one. They never even offered anything for pain before or after the doctor did joke that it was gonna be extremely painful though before he did it When I got home, I was still in pain hours later

Mine didn’t hurt, I definitely watched many videos including this one. Mine was a quick like ouch like 1 second and it was done.

The exact reason I haven't been back for a gyno visit in over 15 years. The pain was so horrendous, I passed out then vomited twice. Then the doc yelled at me, said I was being dramatic! 😳😞

You get general anesthesia for a colonoscopy, so why not for this. I had a general anesthetic for a liver biopsy.

I passed out cold from this procedure, no one mentioned it might hurt. The dr called me high strung.

When I had this done I almost threw up and passed out all at the same time. The only thing my doctor told me to do before was to take the max amount of ibuprofen and Tylenol about an hour before.

They did the same thing on my cervix, cut 3 pieces for a biopsy. They used some numbing agent but it does nothing. And they give nothing either before or after for pain. It's cruel and barbaric

Kaiser told me to just take 3 advil before. I called them and said to book me in the hospital under anesthesia.

The worst pain I experienced. I was given a Tylenol. The gynecologist told me to sit up afterwards, I couldn't move, his assistant left the room, she couldn't take it. Insurance won't cover anesthesia
