@ellalamplugh: This is when having a coach would be helpful. Pretty annoying start to the morning two weeks out from a race. Stopped pretty quickly but they dont feel great #shinsplints

Its the worst pain! Go see a physio asap, get it massaged and cooling with ice. Ive had it for 7 months and now 2 months in my new physio its finally getting better🥺

Mine were caused by swollen soleus muscles. Asian squat every morning and some intense sports massage got them right. Went through it for years until I pinpointed the issue. That was 10 yrs ago
