I think if you did every 6 mo. instead and only did 15-25 units per side that would fix the issue, but still provide you with relief! Hey at least it wears off tho 😊

I am in the same boat. Treatment done by maxillofacial surgeon, 3-4x/yr for severe tmj. I wear a splint. Now have jowls mid 30s. I highly recommend a physio or chiro trained in tmj release-

My doctor said you also need to get the neck muscles done so they don’t pull your jowls when you do jaw (to even it out).

My opinion that it’s a bad injector. Yeah, they can inject well. But a good injector would tell you that. I asked mine if she thought it would be a good idea to slim my face and she straight up said no, your face is prone to jowls. Do not recommend

I got it one time for TMJ. Like two year later I started getting jowls at 25. Honestly I put on 12 pounds and they filled back up lmao. But now my stomach is not flat

Hi injector here! Yes masseter tox causes atrophy of the muscle so the skin has nowhere to go but down. Filler in the jawline can help replenish the volume loss + help sharpen the jawline back!

I get masseter Botox every 3mo for migraines treatment by my neurologist. The jowl is worth it but I also see a derm who suggested the smallest amount of filler to decrease it and think it’s helped
